The winner of the first, 2014, Jonathan Brock Memorial Essay Prize Competition, as announced at our AGM on 11th November 2014, was Peter Smith Esq., employed barrister (call 2008) at Carter-Ruck. The subject for 2014 was “Have the cases on relief from sanctions under CPR, from Mitchell onwards, gone too far?”
